Math Dictionary Helper

Although we have only just begun our new unit in Geometry, we have already been exploring a PLETHORA of important geometric terms. Some examples are listed below:

equilateral triangle   isosceles triangle   scalene triangle   quadrilateral   square   rectangle

isosceles trapezoid   right trapezoid   parallelogram   rhombus   pentagon   hexagon   octagon

decagon   acute angle   right angle   obtuse angle   parallel  perpendicular   intersecting   symmetry

Here is a wonderful resource that offers TONS of math terms with definitions AND visual examples if students need a helpful reference when completing homework:

**Page 10 in the student planner also offers some helpful visuals and geometric terms.

**P.S.- If you click "polygon", you will find a little quiz that is helpful and fun (and aligns well with what we are currently discussing in class). If you take the quiz, leave a comment and earn Behavior Bucks!

Happy Mathematizing!!
